BRADI  provides the client with a local specialist contractor who have agreed to follow a fair and reasonable approach to providing goods and services at a realistic and justified price. The contractor has signed to accept the BRADI mission statement and their details and qualifications are available for inspection.

 

 

 
BRADI Mission Statement
There is an increasing requirement for specialists decontamination professionals who are capable of providing safe, economic services.
Due to the lack of standards and indeed guidance, traditional decontamination or remediation has been a subject to interpretation sometimes to the detriment of all involved.
We have or are  through the joint participation of all international stakeholders, creating both guidance and accepted protocols which are cornerstones and compliance requirement  issues  of BRADI membership.We have embraced the international community as worlwide experience and solutions have enabled a mutually beneficial solution.
Current needs
The UK and EU governments have identified a need for contrcators to undertake specialsit decontamination following accidentsl or terrorist CBRNe events (Link) 
The increasing awareeness of health hazards and risks from Water Damaged Buildings has seen a growing requirement for economic and competent  mould and toxin or allergen removal (Link)
The increasing risk of environmental disaster requires contingency planning and at times access to skilled contractors to assist in the recovery and restoration phase.
BRADI
Bio Recovery and Decontamination  International  was  formed as a group of technical experts who will each head up special interests groups (SIG’s) to work towards development of standards and guidance
BRADI aim to achieve this by including all stakeholders and providing the wider industry with a route to respond and provide  input. Through peer review and regular update via the SIG’s these standards will remain relevant and recognised as “Industry Best Practice”.
Our Goals and Objectives are as follows
·          To develop recognised standards through representative special interest groups
·          To have the new standards adopted by industry as best practice
·          Develop training to support contractors to meet these standards
·          Work with key stakeholders to promote the use of Certificated contractors as best value
·          Raise issues within the industry at government level
·          Develop a group of local and international contractors that can respond to emergency
Companies currently listed as "TM" (Trial Members) are grandfathered in on condition they undertake examination and some training where or if shortfalls are identified within an agreed time frame. (To be agreed by executive committee)
Following this initial audit companies will be listed as associate members on condition they achieve all necessary management and competence conditions within 12 months.
Safe working and legal compliance with industry guidelines and universally accepted protocols are cornerstones of our membership.
